I neglected to mention a few weeks ago (while I was in California) that Josh graduated from Boot Camp and is now in Warrant Officer Flight Training, which means it's about 100 times cooler. Apparently boot camp wasn't exactly what he was expecting. It seems we've gone a little soft in recent times. But the grenades were cool. Yep. Here's a few graduation and beyond pics.

Boot camp is NEVER to be considered cool. NEVER!!!! Now since I have not experienced WOFT I cannot speak to that but I don't think it would fit into the cool category either. The military is just a job that no one else wants to do but someone has to do it. I am just glad I did my four years, avoided combat in Nam and got myslef safely home and out of the service. Hope he can do the same.
