Fake Jewelry Makes My Heart Jump

I don't know if it's my love for sweet grandmas or some hidden memory of my childhood, but "old lady" jewery makes me smile. You know, those huge purple stones with tarnished gold that looks not-that-great, but somehow the shinyness and the boldness makes you smile. I love that. I think I need to get me some old lady jewelry. Because it makes my heart happy.

WOW, I honestly never would have thought you would ever have that opinion. This coming from the girl that loves the finer, more expensive things in life.

Not sure where your desire came from but I can guarantee it is not from your childhood. I think you are a bit touched when it comes to this......Dad

I went through a "broach" phase (dang, I don't know how to spell that and its not like I'm on the internet or anything where I could look it up) - it works better in the winter when you can put the pin on your jacket lapels...hey they would brighten up your solid color (old) wardrobe. I like old lady jewlry also...I like shiny objects.
